9:30-1:30
Join us Valentine’s weekend for a deep dive into the symbolic dimensions of the archetypal realm as expressed through human sexuality and relationship.
Dr. Chelsea Wakefield will present a workshop designed to help us navigate and strengthen life’s important relationships, outer or inner. Perspectives drawn from her forthcoming book, The Labyrinth of Love, will illuminate Jung’s view of the necessity of individuating in connection. She will offer suggestions for encountering our intimate partners more deeply, untangling interlocking complexes, and clearing roadblocks to deep and meaningful connections in our romantic and sexual lives.
Dr. Chelsea Wakefield, PhD, LCSW, is an Associate Professor and Director of the Couples Center at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, AR, at the Psychiatric Research Institute. She also has a practice as a psychotherapist and couples therapist, and she is the author of three books: Negotiating the Inner Peace Treaty: Becoming the Person You Were Born To Be, 2012; In Search of Aphrodite: Women, Archetypes, and Sex Therapy, 2015; and The Labyrinth of Love, coming in 2019.
